‘DISTANT FRIENDSHIPS’

"Distant Friendships" showcase following a week long riso-residence at the train station featuring two artists from Riga - Pauls Rietums and Jelly Felly joined by two local artists from Vilnius Akvilė Magicdusté and Ausumb. This collaborative project explore connections transcending time and distance as grown-up friendships that stretch across countries and years. As well as the theme of friendship in general - friendships between human and nature and friendship with ourselves.

Have a look at the moments from residence and launch event at Hungry Eyes in Užupis near Vilnelė River where Akvilė Magicdusté played vinyls together with Ausumb and Mantas Mockus.

Only best memories from this summer night with Asian street food bbq by our friend Dominykas and tasty beers by Kalba Plytos. We had a super fun raffle with many winners and event an improvised make-up corner as well some random person from Užupis Republic started doing massages on tattoo table! :O
